The first day, and admittedly, a very long day of the KPDC at the 2011 Youth Forum went very well for the Brother Rice Global Debate Team.
In the two rounds of debate that were held today, Brother Rice won both rounds perfectly (picking up all 3 three judges in each round) against the United Kingdom and Azerbaijan. We are hoping the success continues, with 3 rounds of debate occuring tommorrow and one the day after.

ReplyDeleteI buried my mother today. I have been in Pittsburgh for over 2 weeks now. I am very sad but I know that the grieving is a long process. I was so happy to see the blog today. I missed it yesterday but I will catch up. I am going home tomorrow, so I hope to keep in touch by Skype also when I get home. I am soooo very proud of you!!! It brings tears to my eyes to see you in Turkey and having this experience of a lifetime!Congrats on your first two rounds!
